FIRMIN DEZAT SANCERRE

Following the split of the Dezat Dynasty by the third generation of cousins, Firmin Dezat has decided to go in his own direction with his wines. He has stayed in the original family cellars in the village of Verdigny but wishes to become organic with his half of the vineyards. His vineyards are spread over the two main soil types that Sancerre is known for, chalky clay and stony limestone. His wines have a good level of purity with a backbone of minerality and fresh acidity. Aromas of fresh cut grass, white flowers, and citrus, infused throughout with the typical Sancerre elegance and mineral characte
